About PGSC

The Photonics Global Conference (PGC) will be held in Singapore from 14 to 16 December 2010, which covers all major areas in photonics. The 1st Postgraduate Student Conference (PGSC) is organized in conjunction with PGC. We would like to invite outstanding students, with latest reseach results including metamaterials, nanophotonics, biophotonics, plasmonics, optical communication devices/systems and all other related fields, around the world to present their research works. Shortlisted abstracts will have the honor to represent your country as the country¡¯s representative in the conference. This conference will serve as a platform for our participants representing different countries to share research experience and discuss developments in photonics areas. As a light-hearted session, Postgraduate Student Conference provides a good chance not only to meet postgraduate students from different countries, interact with professors and researchers, but also an opportunity to learn new concepts, share research experience and discuss development with other postgraduate students. All papers will be EI indexed. The conference will also invite distinguished speakers to share their insight and perspectives on current trends, convergence technologies and the strategic updates in the photonics research areas. A special certificate will be given to every attending country representative and cash award will be provided to winners through a best student¡¯s paper competition. We are looking forward to your attendance to make this symposium an exciting and fruitful event.
